derm.md desires to pursue the product concept of a Virtual Mohs Tutorial which would enable users to train themselves in the examination of Mohs specimens. This would be developed through the use of an online application that emulates a conventional light microscope; the tutorial would guide them through the learning process using a wide variety of "typical specimens" that the physician might encounter in practicing Mohs procedures. This product, created specifically for resident training and educational purposes, would be ultimately offered to practicing dermatologists to fulfill their training needs as well.

Improving Dermatology

"using today's technology to enhance tomorrow's dermatology"

In today's world, technology has drastically changed every area of our lives. From computerized cars to the advent of e-commerce, we have more productivity and convenience in our lives. But at derm.md, we see that Dermatology has not taken advantage of much of this technology. There is great potential for enhancing future dermatologists' educational process, as well as improving the quality of care that current dermatologists can offer their patients.

Joining Hands
"a single purpose fulfilled by a unified dermatological community"
