As a fully-developed product, eProcedures would offer 'live-action'
video clips of the most common procedures in Dermatology. These training-oriented
demonstrations, provided by volunteer Dermatologists in an on-line
video library environment, would serve as an excellent supplement
to traditional textbook and lecture tutorials, and be a highly effective
tool for visualizing and preparing for clinical procedures.

Sometimes the best explanation for something is to see it for yourself.
derm.md's eProcedures project concept was developed in response to
this reality. Providing residents with the opportunity to learn by
example will ensure that the theoretical knowledge they have acquired
through their various studies is applied to actual clinical procedures
in a context that is safe, convenient and accessible.
