Because lifelong learning is a part of a physician’s career,
CME.md is proud to offer convenient online accredited courses for
your Continuing Medical Education (CME). You can now access high quality
video and audio presentations by nationally known educators anywhere,
anytime. The lectures are provided to CME.md from Mdlive.net, a part
of the MDweb News Educational Group. Courses for dermatologists are
offered along two tracks: the Dermatologic Surgery Series Core Curriculum
and the Dermatopathology Master Series. They are recognized by the
American Academy of Dermatology and may be used towards the American
Academy of Dermatology’s Continuing Medical Education Award.
Either series can be completed at your office, at home, or on any
computer with an internet connection. CME.md provides several services
to streamline and facilitate your completion of Continuing Medical
Education. You may choose to use a personal tracking service which
records the courses you have taken, when you “attended”
the lecture, the due dates, and more. A search engine is offered to
help you to search for particular areas of interest (or you may choose
the courses from the list on the series’ main page.)
The Dermatologic Surgery Series Core Curriculum focuses on nineteen
areas of study, including Antiseptics, Dressing, and Wound Care, Mohs
Micrographic Surgery, and Suturing Techniques. These courses provide
a total of 35 hours of AAD Category 1 CME credit. The Dermatopathology
Masters Series offers courses in 20 different areas, ranging from
Cutaneous Anatomy to Medicolegal Pitfalls in Dermatopathology. Viewers
may earn up to 25 hours of AAD Category 1 CME credit in this series.
The newest additions the Dermatology Grand Rounds Series lecture,
which discusses 10 challenging cases from the archives of the University
of Arizona Dermatology Grand Rounds conference.
Along with the lectures, CME.md provides you with links to Author
Bios, a special section devoted to the latest topics and series, resources,
