Amit Bhatia, CIO
As the Chief Information Officer of derm.md, Mr. Bhatia has planned
and deployed large-scale multi-platform (Windows/Palm/Pocket PC) software,
and engineered full life cycle development of a suite of online dermatology
services. He holds a Bachelor in Computer Science from Loyola University
Chicago in 2000, and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in
Computer Science. Mr. Bhatia has previous experience as a Database/Systems
programmer for Deloitte Consulting, working with IT to design, develop
and coordinate application maintenance using Visual Basic, and designing
custom reports using SQL. As a programmer analyst for Zurich Scudder
Investments, he developed dynamic database-driven web sites and e-commerce
solutions with Java, Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS),
XML, and SQL programmer. Mr. Bhatia also gained programming experience
at Inventa Technologies as a B2B Programmer developing n-tier web
applications for national clientele as an I.T. consultant utilizing
Inventa's RAPID Methodology. Throughout his career, Mr. Bhatia has
honed his expertise in several languages, as well as web servers/database
servers, development tools, and graphic design tools.
